Great sock for a wide range in temperatures. I've mostly used these socks when temps drop below 60 F down to 40 F. Even those these wool socks are thin, my feet are never cold or hot. In fact, these socks always feel dry and breath well without retaining moisture, certainly less moisture then my regular light weight summer socks. I use these for commuting and regular weekend rides and believe these are the best socks I own. Need to buy more.

They're socks--what else can you say?
These work decent enough, no issues at all and they've held up to several washes so far so durability is solid as well. Just wish cycling socks weren't so pricey. All in all, ...Read complete review

It is a very nice feeling sock. Warm in the cold mornings and keeps your feet dry for the whole ride.
Comments about Pearl Izumi Tour Wool Sock:
I purchased these as a throw-in to an order to bring my purchase up to the free shipping minimum. I ordered the small and as another reviewer stated , they fit perfectly on my men's size 8.8 feet. They are 56% nylon, 42% wool, & 2% spandex. I like the height too; longer than quarter crew but not over the calf.

Fit's well. Hugs the foot.
Seems true to size. I have an 8.5USA foot and the small/med fits perfectly.

Great socks! Comfortable and well made. Definitely good for those cooler days when the toes need a little extra warmth.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Tour Wool Sock:
These are a great pair of wool socks. They have a fairly high nylon content, too, so they're kind-of between a true wool winter sock and standard cycling socks.
I've worn them much of the winter, and they help keep the toes warm on a cool day.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Tour Wool Sock:
I've used these socks from November through February, riding in temps between 30-50F with regular summer road shoes with toe covers, these socks keep my feet warm without the bulk of heavier socks and my feet stay dry. The socks don't itch, are really comfortable and the perfect height. I also have winter cycling boots and prefer to use these socks with the boots for the thinness, warmth and comfort when compared to heavier and thicker wool cycling socks.
