I use this for my day to day hybrid mountain bike cycling. I spend most of my time either on duel track in the woods or on the neighborhood roads. These are perfect! Well made and comfortable. I love the simple laces and one Velcro design. The color and other aesthetics are great too; simple is the best!

I bought these trying to evade the "duck walk" deal with shoes that are stiff enough for good cycling performance, since I often ride to get places rather than just ride to ride.
These shoes have met my expectations in that regard. They were true to size in length and a bit wider than expected -- but comfortable. No hotspots even on longer rides and they can be walked on level floors inside without clacking -- or tearing up floor surfaces.
I wouldn't consider them for other-than-cycling wear but as a shoe you can use to ride in and then dismount and walk into an establishment to eat or similar you'll be good. Ditto if you find yourself having to hike instead of bike. The velcro band does a nice job of keeping the laces out of the drivetrain as well.
Construction looks solid and I expect they'll hold up well; there is nothing that looks like a potential problem in terms of durability.
I found exactly what I was hoping to -- and for the price paid these represent an excellent value.

Durable shoes. Took the advice to buy 1/2 size larger but found it to be little big. I would recommend getting the equivalent size you normally wear.

Use these for both Road & Mountain biking with toes clips (old school.) Roomy Toe box requires larger toes toe clip; I like Zefal half clips for my mountain bike & commuter.

Used on my single speed, cross country and light trail, They are comfortable and light, The sizing was off a bit, I bought 10s but they were about one size larger. Returned for 9s and fit better.. A good shoe for the price, my second pair....

I usually don't give out the highest rating on any product, but I think these could rank 4.9.
I've had these for about a month now. I've ridden them hard on our local single-track system, scouted over scree slopes, shuffled through the grocery store, commuted to work,and even driven my school bus while wearing them. Excellent fit (10 1/2 = 45 / I also have wide feet), clips are recessed enough so you don't tap dance on hard surfaces yet allow enough room to unclip at a moments notice. Don't waste cash on more expensive shoes - these are Shimanos and quality is guaranteed. Subtle yet stylish. You won't go wrong with this shoe.
