im new to mtb, had an old specialized hardrock with 80mm travel fork, when i bought this, i felt the big difference, if you are out of budget, this fox is for you.

I bought this to replace a busted Bomber, for my Lynskey
it's 140mm of travel, and I swear I'm going to put a tape measure to it, because it seems like even more.
very smooth action,
lighter than the Bomber, and I hope more durable!
only miss the rebound control, but then again, it was an extra 300+USD.

This fork is amazing. I upgraded to this from a 100mm coil fork and instantly shaved a pound off my bike. It corners well and is very stable at high speed. It looks really good on my bike too. Feels great on 1 to 2 feet rock drops. Any drop bigger than that and I would suggest a 160 to 180mm coil fork. This fork was made for XC riding and all mountain riding. I love it!
