used on dirty winter roads, trail use. good traction and performance.
Great tires. I have had these on a few vintage 27" bikes for my commutes. Excellent traction in all conditions, just rode 20 miles in 4-6 inches of snow this morning with total confidence. Besides the performance qualities, they look pretty cool on my ride.
There are probably the best bike I ever used. Finally wore out the previous set I've had for 10 years. Just ordered a new pair.

Good all around commuting tire. Great for rides which combine paved roads and dirt trails. If I could only ride one bike with one tire, this would be my choice!
In 1997 I had heart surgery and needed exercise without the impact of running but with what I needed in exercise for my recovery. Therefore loving riding as I do it was an excellent choice. All in all I've been riding both, on and, a little off road, for about, four or five years.
