Use the HR in all conditions. The confidence it instills is awesome. Was recommended by a friend and I have not looked back. There is no other front tire for me. Not the lightest tire but when you feel it grab when you think all is lost you'll look to the heavens and thank the HR.

Really like these tires in softer conditions. I've only run the Supertackies, and I love them.
They don't last super long on the rear, but they're great while they last.

I've used both the 2.5 SuperTacky DH spec and the 42a 2.35 Wire Bead. The 2.5 DH Spec is heavy (as with all dh tires) but provides awesome traction and protects from pinch flats. The 2.35 Wire Bead also hooks up very well, but pinch flats easily, pinched twice at 35 psi.
