Maxxis tires seem Narrower then most 2.5 tires. Tire has good cornering and braking. Durable side knobs.

I have used these tires for almost two years and have been real happy with them. The harder compound last long but does not grip as well as the 3c, but that is to be expected with a 60a compound.

I like em as a rear but they dont cut it up front where i ride.. There are lots better option for front tires IMO.. Would like to check out the new version of them, they sound great..

Best cornering tyre I've ever ridden. The more more you lean, the more it grips. Transitions are made with confidence.
Get the super tacky compound if you are looking for the ultimate grip on slippery stuff and less induced rebound on rough terrain.
Rolling resistance is not the best but pretty good.

Pretty good tire, although i would not use it again unless just in the rear, found that it liked to drift around alot. even if it was brand new. Also had trouble finding a good pressure, too much air the tires drift, not enough air the side walls fold. they are good in wet conditions, but other then that i would go with something more like a minion.

they are a geat all porpuse tire. they are good at the moutain and the woods . but i would recomend buying a pair for around town and aseparate pair just for the track. overall a great tire that is one of the best dh tires that can be used for other purposes.
