I converted my DH bike to tubeless and installed these... Rode around the block to test it out (bike park not oepn yet) and this rubber is gggrrriippppppyyyy. I hope it doesn't wear too fast as I want a set of these on my trai lbike.

I wish i had known about the 3c compound before i bought this one because this one is wearing quickly and i sometimes have to ride road to get to the sweet trails so ill be needing a new tire soon... but it works great

Tried to mount the UST minion on some tubeless rims and the bead did not want to seat and ended up blowing apart. Now the tire is useless and I didn't even get to ride it!

This is my favorite tire. A totaly worn out super tacky Minion on the front will rail better than most tires that are brand new. The side walls are good enough to take all kinds of rock garden abuse. I quit shopping and only buy this tire now.

If you downhill you will bank. On a bank the more tire you have on the ground the better your handling. Downhill you need less gears but more brakes and rubber.

I've had this tire on the front of my 575 for the few years. While it's a legit DH tire, I think it's a perfect all-mountain / XC tire for longer travel bikes. Never had it wash out, so far, and it seems to excel in dry or wet conditions.

These tires are the only tires I run because of two reasons. 1) They are the only UST tire I can find in the size I run that doesn't weigh a metric ton. 2) The dry weather traction is exceptional.
