Use them all the time, had another brand and got 5 flats from rocks, so I returned to my z's and they've been great.

I have a pair of these on my fixie. Mostly NYC riding, and not one flat in 4 years with heavy ridding. In fact, i cracked my rim before it was time to replace the tires do to tread wear.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Upgraded to these from the standard Zaffiro tires for puncture resistance and it didn't work, but for clean roads they work great.
