these are good tubes... not as light as the latex tubes but it doesn't have the disadvantages of latex tubes either. great for budget racers

The Maxxis Ultralight tubes essentially are the lightest of the tubes before you get into the Superlights. The Superlight tubes unfortunately almost always split in 3 to 6 months unless something does them in sooner. The Maxxis Ultralights when they puncture it is justified. While you could use they in DH they are a waste of money as a heavier tube will last longer and weight isn't that much of an issue
Outstanding product so far, definitely worth the extra. I do keep a few tubes for a backup (fortunately haven't had to use them yet).
very nice to find dependable/reliable liteweight tube you know will be the same every time you take one out of box. plus at 4.50 each not much more than a std tube.great product
