Easy to mount this tubes. Are heavy which makes me think that they should hold up pretty well to thorn attack!!! No flats yet but lets see how they deliver over time since I just recently bought them.

They do as advertised, really thorn resistant. The wall is thick, and resisted severe abuse so far They are heavy, but not more than adding sealant to regular tubes. Really easy to set up, and have a removable core valve, in the case you need to add sealant. Will not set them on my racing wheelset but for training A+

Thick, thorn-resistant tubes are pretty much a necessity where I live. So is tube sealant. Trick is, I really like presta valves and that's what my mountain bike is set up for. I had previously used a set of Panaracer DH tubes, and had gone through the trouble of removing the top nut from the valves and dropping the core down into the tube to fill it with Slime. I got decently good at it, but it still sucked.
Enter the Kenda Q-Tubes with removable cores. Excellent! They're made of a nice, thick rubber, and putting in sealant is a cinch. Just make sure to clean out the stem once you're done, to keep the sealant from jamming up the valve.
It's also nice that these tubes are made small with the intent of expanding... makes it much easier to mount the tire.
The one thing that I saw that concerned me, is that on one of my tubes, when I took out the core, the tiny o-ring that seals it was sitting funny and had gotten sliced a tiny bit by the threads. I hope this doesn't become a problem down the line. As of now, it's holding the pressure just fine.
