Most Versatile
I've found this to be the best of the cable guides available. First, the oval mounting hole lets you move or twist the guide around on the bottom bracket to get the cables past/around different sized BB shells and different thicknesses of chain stays. The Shimano only has 2 holes/positions. (a sharp knife can trim or remove plastic if you need to twist it a little more) Second, the tail is much longer, to guide your cable around the BB shell keeping the cable from rubbing. I've seen bikes with the Shimano guide where the cable has worn a groove through the paint and into the metal!
