Comments about K-Edge Chain Catcher:

Ever have you chain drop in a race or a ride? Well this product solves that problem! This is a great product for anyone worried about dropping their chain. After spending a couple thousand dollars on a bike I did not want to risk ruining my paint/frame or bottom bracket so I ended up buying this chain catcher. As many people say it is a bit too expensive for what it is but if it saves your frame from damage its worth purchasing. Its really easy to install and super light weight. Just spend the money and get this chain catcher you will be happy you did.

Even though it is $20 but worth it. Think about you don't have to stop during your ride or commute to put the chain back on and no more greasy hand.

Installs easy and works. Should be standard fair on every front derailleur manufactured, but OK, you can buy one too. Do it...

    Doesn't fit triple cranks!

    By Tom in SoCal

    Comments about K-Edge Chain Catcher:

The item description should indicate that this part will NOT work with triple cranks. K-Edge makes a similar part for triples, but Jensen doesn't list that part so you'll have to buy it elsewhere. So beware...

    Save your race and frame

    Comments about K-Edge Chain Catcher:

Ahh do I want to spend [$] on a piece of aluminum that I probably will never need. You will kick yourself for not buying one when you are on the rivet and drop a chain, ruin your race and gouge your frame.

    • Too expensive

      Comments about K-Edge Chain Catcher:

Chain slipped off sm. chain ring often. (even with weekly adjustments) Not anymore! K-edge chain catcher prevents it. Only complaint is cost. Too expensive for what you get.

      Happy to not have to...

      By Lee

      from London, On Canada

      Comments about K-Edge Chain Catcher:

Happy to not have to worry about the nasty job of extracting the chain from between the ring and frame and the ugly damage to the carbon fiber frame. Does the job elegantly.
