This is a great looking guide that works flawlessly. I've used this guide on both my Santa Cruz Chameleon and Heckler and have never dropped a chain.
The problem with this guide is kinda of a catch22. To keep it light, it's made from lightweight plastics. The problem with this is that the lower guide cracks routinely, causing you to have to fork out $25 every other month to fix. The crack occurs around the allen bolt that secures the lower guide to the back plate. If this issue could someone get fixed, I would give this product 5 stars.
I've been running this guide for a year now and have replaced the lower guide 3 times so far. If you do purchase this guide, i would recommend buying a spare lower guide so you're not left without a ride.
