Great bash guard. Came with replacement bolts that were the right length. The bolts have a sweet anodized color to them too. It bolted right on in no time to my Shimano crankset. I havent bashed it yet. It seems sturdy enough to take a beating, but light enough for all mountain riding. Be sure to have your tools with you to check the bolts during first couple rides. They appeared to have a locking agent on them, but came loose the first couple rides. The bolts didnt fall out, but were loose enough to cause concern.

You would think that with the word "god" in the name of the product that it would be strong and sturdy, nope! When installing it, I tightened to the correct torque and after the last little turn it produced a nice little crack around the mounting bolts, nothing major but a little disappointing. Spend a little more and get something better.

This bash guard lasted about 10 rides before all 4 of the bolt holes broke.

Comments about Blackspire C4 Ring God Bash Guard:
This Blackspire bashguard is what I was looking for...it looks solid, indestructible, clean design and looks awesome. Though it's a little thicker but its ok. My bike looks good right now even though the rider is NOT. Well thats life...

Comments about Blackspire C4 Ring God Bash Guard:
wanted to do a 2x10 set up but did not change out my 3 ring crank, just swapped out the big ring and slapped on the bashguard. Paired it with a stinger and you have a set up that simple does the job while looking extra cool as well!

Bought this bash to replace my big ring on an SLX triple crank. Installation was easy. Even though its really light it seems pretty tough.

Comments about Blackspire C4 Ring God Bash Guard:
Pulled the outter ring on my Jamis Dragon and put this on. Was disappointed in the missing hardware for proper installation, but was pleasantly surprised at how tough it was considering the cost. Stood up to the rocky rugged trails in Southern Arizona and still kicking.
Comments about Blackspire C4 Ring God Bash Guard:
I use this on my hardtail riding mostly XC and all mountain trails. I definitely recommend this for 2 main reasons
1) Its not made out of metal which usually chips when it get bashed. the finish is great on this even after 2 seasons of riding and many many collisions.
2) Its light weight.

If you are adding this to a Sram Crank, you'll need to replace the chainring bolts with Shimano bolts or Problem Solver.

Took my 3rd ring off my 2012 remedy 8 and it fit perfect. I have banged and dinged this guard multiple times against rocks, logs and random flying debry. There has not even been a fracture.
