they work great but...
they work great but wear out fast. Mine were done after less than 6 months. Raceface seems to last longer - as if a longer lasting alloy is used.

Works on Shimano 2x10 M785
Wanted lower gears for making up technical rocky trails in AZ, Shimano 2x10 smallest chainring M785 is 24tooth, so I got the M770 22tooth which has same 64mm BCD and works great. No chain clearance issues either, I might of got lucky. I made climbs that I struggled on. Can not comment on wear yet.

Now I can climb hills
My bike was a 1x9, now it's a 2x9 without a derailleur. Just use my fingers to change the gear. I am able to climb up the hills with ease now without stopping. So much easier! Installation took some creativity because of my crankset which had nothing to do with the quality of the sprocket. I had to put a washer on each crank bolt to move this little sprocket away from the larger one, the chain was too close and was grinding on the bigger sprocket. Now it's perfect

Will buy this again
I installed it myself which means anyone can do it. I have used it for about a month and have had no issue.

Now I can tackle hills
My bike was a 1x9 mountain bike then I added this so now it's a 2x9 without a front derailleur. Just use my fingers to change the gear when I come to climbing. It's a very small sprocket, so I can peddle much easier and actually make it up hills without stopping. It works great so far, and it does what it should. No complaints! Installation of this sprocket was too close to my larger sprocket so the chain was grinding against that larger sprocket and would not spin. I fixed that by adding 1 equal sized washer on each crank bolt to give it some space in between. Magic! But that had nothing to do with the quality of this product just a thing of my crank set design.

Will this chainring work with an M780 10sp triple? thanks Bill
bill on Aug 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it will, it will go in place of the middle chainring. You may have to get Raceface spacers to take up the slack of the outer ring unless you have an extra set of shorter chainring bolts hanging around. Or you can use a Raceface bash guard in place of the outer ring.
Live life on purpose...?
Is this for the 9 or 10 speed version of the M770 crankset?
spinaz on Jun 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used the chainring on a 9-spd triple chainring
Can I fit a 22 tooth ring on my M675 Slx crankset? If so which ring is correct in terms of spacing?
sergio h on Mar 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: take your crankset from your bike and with a metric tape or a metric ruler , find out the distance between the bolts , if it's 64 mm it will fit just fine. You probably gonna need short out the length on your chain by a link or two if when you go small chain ring to small cog the derailleur rub against the chain ( I have a long cage derailleur). Also you have to take in consideration the size of your big chain ring . My drivetrain it's 2 X 10 and my big ring it's 36t , also I put the one up cog (42t) as I do a lots of claiming and it works just fine ( had to adjust the link of the chain )
