I love this saddle. I own a Brooks B17 Imperial on my Xtracycle, and was considering a second for my Jamis touring bike but thought I'd give the Spoon a shot due to the great write-ups I had read. I am glad I did. It is different, indeed from the B17 Imperial, more agressive is the first thing I would note. It is okay for casual rides of a few miles but for more than that you'll need chamois. I prefer it on agressive, longer rides where it simply gives me the control I need while my weight is distributed more in my pedaling than in sitting on the perch. I just love it, and the brown looks nice on my touring bike with leather grip tape. It is nice not having cover it up or make sure it's locked up properly like my brooks. Very, very low maintenance.

Really looking forward to their new product, the SCOOP, which I have ordered for my fat bike.

I've had this saddle on my rigid 29er for a few months now. For the price, it's great. It is solidly constructed, not very heavy and looks really good in brown.

It's not perfect though. I am starting to notice that the brown polyurethane laminate is starting to peel towards the nose of the saddle. But the bigger issue is comfort. I can't say this is a comfortable saddle for me. I'm not sure if the so called "pressure relief channel" is really working, in fact I feel a lot of pressure where such a channel should be! Also it seems quite narrow, my sit bones rest right on the edges of the wings. I know everyone's butt is a different shape, but for me this saddle is pretty uncomfortable (and I never ride without padded shorts).

That being said, I'll probably keep using it. Ideally I'd have something a little better for when the trail gets rough, but it's a great value and is very stylish.

Not bad at all

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

Been riding an Easton saddle since 2006, likes it but was getting worn and old. Got this one in the brown, looks like real leather. There is not any extra bulk on the structure of this seat, needs a fancy clamp to make it look extra good.
First ride on it was 12 miles of single track and had almost zero pain afterwards, that was surprising.
On the trail I had to stand up every now and then, but I figure I didn't have the correct angle set. I recommend this seat, it does its job great

        Excellent bang for the buck.
saddles are specific to each person, but this is my go to and the price is beyond excellent. i run this on all my road bikes, even my indoor spin bike. has the same feel as a ritchey pro seat (what i run on my xc) these seats have tons of hours, ive rode 210 miles in 24hrs (with the previous day having 175miles) with no blisters or sores. LOVE this seat! crushthecommonwealth certified.

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

This is a very comfortable saddle that looks great for an amazingly low price. I have two of these. One in white on my hardtail and a black one on my FS bike. Both have proven to be reasonably durable and have handled the abuse quite well.

Really happy with this seat. It's much more comfortable than most of the other seats I've purchased in the past and looks really nice. I've only gotten a few rides with it, but it also appears to be pretty durable and made well.

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

I use this seat on all my bikes. It's cheap, light and firm. It does get pretty torn up on my polo bike but only because it gets scraped on the asphalt in a crash. Doesn't interfere with leg movement for light road riding. Might be not so great for long rides.
