Pronounced cross king, the X-king is between a race tire and an all mountain tire. This fast rolling tire has an aggressive tread which is perfect for gripping both hard and loose terrain. The shoulder lugs hook-up like super glue during high- speed cornering. The symmetrical center section provides excellent climbing and braking traction.
This version of the X- King is the Supersonic. Supersonic means that the weight and rolling resistance are un-sacrificed. The X-King tire has been reduced in volume and weight to what is absolutely necessary and technically feasible.

Comments about Continental X-King Supersonic 26" Tire:
I used this tire in conditions were the ground was frozen and ice/snow patches were scatterred throughout the trail. I live in Illinois and hadn't gone out b/c I had small block 8's on my fs bike and we'd had snow on the ground for a while. Most people here are riding fatbikes n 29ers this time of year. The addition of these tires let me rip it in extreme conditions, no fat bike needed here broj. They have great grip and still feel fast like my former sb8's. I've also used nevegals in the past and currently ignitors on my hardtail, the continentals feel faster w/the same amount of grip. I'm running tubes w/them and its all good. Get the good ones, they are worth it, you wont regret your purchase.
