So far so good! My new favorite tire.
Comments about Continental Travel Contact Tire:
Use these tires on a Monster Cross bicycle that I use for club road rides, road and trail rides, some off road single track. They roll well on road and provide competent handling off road on moderately technical trails, the rear wheel does slip on occasion on off road climbs, but that is to be expected.
Overall these tires perform very well as long as you understand their use. They are stiffer than expected which should make them more durable and flat resistant.
Need to be extra aware and experiment with air pressure to get the best ride and handling, with a total rider, bike and accessory weight of ~215 pounds, I have found 35psi front and 55psi rear provide the best all around performance on road and off.

Comments about Continental Travel Contact Tire:
It has greatly increased the speed and time to finished my excercise trail. I have tacked on almost double the distance since i started using these tires and not as tired as when i had a 26 X 2.35 knobbies.
I do 80% packed gravel trails [one thing to consider when debating about these tires, what is the percentage of terrain you will be using it for, i could have gone with a 1.95 but this works fine and the other did not offer puncture protection***].
Loose gravels next to the well traveled portions on the other hand. That is where you have to watch out for, especially on hard turns. Don't run into the side loose gravel too fast with these tires. But if you cross every now and then and run into loose gravel going straight forward it will hold just fine.
So if you are not doing serious mountain bike riding and just use it for your 'cardio' riding on mostly flat and some not so loose uphill and downhill, BEST tires to have and you will have more breath to use on the paved road on the way home.
No question about it on paved road handling. Rolls right along and not have to fight any knobbie resistance.
Make sure you have the proper inner tubes and respective 'valves' for your wheels, if you are coming from a wider tire like i was. Keep the knobbies and put them on when you go serious MTB. Easy install on these.
Safe trailing everyone!...

Comments about Continental Travel Contact Tire:
used these tires on a tandem, sometimes heavily loaded. They last a good distance, even on the back, and seem to have good puncture resistance. Running at about 70psi seems to work very well for us.
