The Diamondback Recoil Comp 29 is a full suspension mountain bike build upon a 29” wheel platform. The Recoil Comp 29 is perfect beginner bike for those that desire to ride more aggressively on the mountain. Diamondback built the Recoil Comp 29 upon a 6061 T-6 aluminum frame with 4” of travel. The frame uses a machine formed top tube and a butted formed down tube sharing tubing from the Sortie series. The Recoil Comp uses a sealed cartridge bearing pivot and is built around an optimized single pivot design which is the simplest type of rear suspension, since there are few moving parts.
To absorb the bumps of the trail, the Diamondback Recoil Comp 29 was outfitted with the RockShox Monarch air rear shock. To compliment the rear shock, the SR Suntour XCR RL fork was chosen to complete the suspension package. The SR Suntour XCR RL features 100mm of reliable travel. The rebound damping adjustment and remote lock out are nifty features that will prove extremely useful while navigating the trails.
