Powertap Pro Mountain Bike Disc Hub
The PowerTap Pro Mountina Bike Disc Hub brings power meters to mountain bikes in an easily accessible package. First developed in 2006, the Cyclops PowerTap hubs have been evolving and improving ever since becoming lighter, stiffer, and ANT+ compatible!
Before the PowerTap Mountain Bike Disc Hub, the power meter options were limited to very expensive SRM meters or power meters that were based off of heart rate analysis. The Mountain Bike PowerTap hub creates a lightweight disc ready power meter tool to measure, track and analyze your power information. Similar to their road bike sibling, the PowerTap Mountain Bike Hub is ANT+ compatible so that your information can be wirelessly transmitted to your Cyclops Joule, Garmin or any other ANT+ compatible computer. With all of this information at your fingertips, you can maximize your training and have your most successful season ever! PowerTap has taken into consideration the different conditions that the PowerTap Pro Mountain Bike Hub will see and has protected the electronics from the additional water, mud and grime that these hubs will see. The axle is an alloy oversized 135mm version. The PowerTap Pro Mountain Bike Disc Hub comes in Shimano/SRAM or Campagnolo compatibility and with a 32 hole spoke drilling.
