I wanted a less lycra look for commuting, but didn't like the heavy cotton cargo shorts. Full length pants have to be rolled up or cinched with a leg band. These knicker length shorts work great. When temps are below the mid-40's ,adding leg warmers works fine. Looking forwrd to spring hiking to wear these on the trail.
