Ride first 100 miles< lost spoke on front wheel on gravel road. Fork is twisting when braking, rims are playing when pedal hard - setup feels unbalanced.
I have always ridden road bikes. This is my first cyclocross bike. I bought it because I wanted something similar to a road bike but with the ability to gradually add wider tires as my riding needs change. I'm in my 60s and now find that I am riding more for exercise than distance. This bike has been great for what I wanted. I did, however, change the tires before ever taking the first ride. I ride on paved roads and thought the mud tires it came with were too knobby and not what I needed for road riding. I switched to two Specialized Infinity Armadillo tires and they have been great. The bike is light, looks GREAT in all black, and was easy to assemble.

This bike is an outstandingly good deal. The 105 level shifters/derailers perform beautifully, and have stood up to a fair amount of abuse (winter riding in minnesota) without a hitch. The brakes are better than any other cantis I've tried (but they are still cantis, so...). The crankset seems solid, and is well-reviewed online.
Overall, I just really love this bike. I especially appreciate the lack of obtrusive logos, decals, etc (the black on black color scheme makes it hard to see them at all).
The bike arrived almost completely assembled. From what I check, Jenson did a really nice job putting it together. Both wheels perfectly true (and have remained so for >200 miles), bolts greased and tightened appropriately (although I only checked the easy ones; I wasn't inclined to pull the drivetrain, etc).
Overall, a great bargain. Oh, and, it's hard to notice in some pics, but the spokes are white, which makes for a really cool zebra-ish color scheme!
