Best Uses
This is my first road bike and I could not be happier. I did a thorough search for a beginner road bike under $1K and based on reviews this was perfect. The main selling point for me was the Shimano 105 components.
Prior to my first ride, I took the bike to a cycle shop and had it professionally fitted. My first ride was 30 miles and was pretty comfortable, relatively speaking. The bike felt light, handled great, and shifted effortlessly. I was very pleased with the yellow/flat black color combo. I will be looking into changing out the seat in the future.
Over the past 2 weeks, I have put on 100 miles
This bike is great for the price. It has a solid frame, 105 componants and is about 20lbs. As a bonus it is fast and comfortable.
The wheels are heavy and the seat needed to go.
I plan on putting on a new wheelset, tires, tubes plus a few other things. It will be under 18lbs when I'm done. I'll be way ahead of the game even with the changes.
Jenson customer service is great! I have nothing but praise for them.
