It's never too soon to get the youngsters started on a path to adventure. Thanks to Diamondback future shredders now have access to a bike that is built to be ridden like a real mountain bike should. The Splinter 24 is a junior sized, aggressive full suspension ripper that is made to be ridden just as hard its adult counterparts.

At the heart of the Splinter is its butted aluminum frame that sports 100mm of travel via a tried and true single pivot suspension design that is simple and durable, and proportioned to fit smaller riders. The 100mm travel X-Fusion Velvet fork is custom valved for lighter riders and has rebound and lockout adjustments just like the big boys. Rugged 24" wheels with Kenda Nevegal tires can take a beating, and still come out spinning smooth and straight. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors offer superior braking performance in any condition. SRAM's 1x10 drivetrain continues to throw down perfect shifts, and has plenty of gears to keep those little legs spinning. A bulletproof cockpit by Race Face and Diamondback top off the Splinter's bevy of capable components.

Diamondback gave careful consideration to every component to ensure that the endlessly energetic Splinter riders will be banging out laps long after the grown-up have retired to the lodge.
