The Diamondback Assault park bike is a burly little low slung rig designed to trick, flip, stick, and hit. The Assault is comprised of 6061 T6 Aluminum for extreme durability. The tapered head tube adds stiffness to the front end that a traditionally 1-1/8” head tube cannot supply. The Mission formed top tube and steel reinforced horizontal BMX dropouts allow this bike to go big.
Diamondback only put the best components on the Assault. Up front is a Fox 32 831 with CTD technology. CTD stands for Climb, Trail, and Descend technology. Fox aimed to create a fork that allowed riders to easily “tune” their forks on the fly. CTD is as simple as it sounds. Flip to Climb for a ragging hill climb, turn to Trail for singletrack or a combination terrain, then flip to Descend for larger drops. The 15mm quick release thru axle adds stiffness to the front end, which is pertinent for landing a jump. Shimano M505 hydraulic disc brakes provide ample stopping power, to help ensure your safety. Gravity Lite cockpit components help keep the bike light and allow you to get more air. You’ll be amazed by the ride you’ll experience on the Diamondback Assault.
