The best set of brakes in my opinion. No squeaky noise nor fading. This brakes are set up on my Mojo HD and Giant Trance X2. I have never had any issues with them as of yet.
However, where are the two-piece rotors (180mm and 203mm) that are intended for these brakes. Hayes better bring them back.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use these on a Santa Cruz Chameleon. I weigh between 210 and 220 pounds. These brakes always stop and never fade like many others.
Very easy to set up and service. Low maintenance.
If you weigh over 210 pounds or just ride aggressively, theses are the brakes to go with!
Very high quality fit and finish.
