This lube is great for mountain, and road biking. it lasts forever which results in less time spent lubing your chain and more time riding. I have found that wet lubs such as this collect tons of dirt on the MTB which leads to more frequent degreasing.

On my road bike, I have an Ulterga drive train with an FSA carbon fiber crank set with alum sprockets.

When applied correctly the lube does a great job in taking care of the chain. However, on the front sprocket it clicks really loud. When down shifting from the larger sprocket to the smaller one the chain stays on the larger and raps the chain around the smaller sprocket. AKA Chain Suck. This stuff works great on my mountain bike but it has all steal sprockets and rear cogs.

I switched the road bike back to ProGold, ProLink and the problem went away.

So, I will keep buying this product for my mountain bike because it is the best for dirty mountain biking, But will switch my road bike back to ProGold, ProLink which is the best I have found for it. I should say them because I have 3 road bikes.

I have used a variety of chain lubes. While most have been decent to a certain degree, this lube has all the best characteristics of all the lubes I've used.

And oh man, it is smooth. It goes on easy and stays on the chain. It has an awesome sweet petrochemical smell. The best thing about this lube is that it makes the chain almost entirely silent. So silent in fact that you can hear the sound of the power going to your tires to the road over the chain. I am positive this increases efficiency by a tiny degree as well. Also, you don't need to re-apply every ride, because it LASTS. So it pays for itself in the end.

This is the "Lite" formulation for road bikes. If you plan on running the bike in the dirt, fine, the lube will handle it. Supposedly the regular version is more suited to dirtier use, but both lubes work incredibly well for all applications. Highly recommended for someone who *thinks* they can't find a better lube.

This lube was recommended by the staff at Jenson USA and I will say it did provide a long lasting lube for my chain.
Without wiping the chain after application it becomes a dirt magnet as it is almost grease-like in attracting dirt. Always wipe the chain after applying and spinning for 5 minutes.
