Good stem from Easton. Durable (as can be expected). I use on my road biking for sport riding and commuting. Has held up very well so far after 3-4 months of use.

I needed an 80mm stem that was:
1. Burly, i.e., had a 4-bolt faceplate and a 2-bolt steerer clamp and didn't weigh a measly 130 grams.
2. That was from a trusted manufacturer (no Flea-Bay unknown manufacturer stuff).
3. Didn't weigh over 200 grams.
4. Was reasonably priced.
5. Looked nice (the Truvative and FSA stuff is positively utilitarian looking).
This stem is all that, BUT the bolts are 5mm metric bolts that use a 4mm allen wrench, not the standard 6mm bolts that use a 5mm wrench. If I had known this, beforehand, I might not have bought this stem. As it is, the faceplate bolts loosened on the first ride. I have since torqued them tighter and applied LocTite, and they have been ok for the one ride, since. I would have prefered the standard size bolts, even at the expense of more weight. This stem weighs 154 grams, if I remember correctly (80mm length).
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
