This seat post serves its function very well. I use it for downhill so I am not at all worried about weight. If you are shaving weight you could probably find something lighter.

Purchased to replace the heavier stock seatpost on my commuter, way lighter than the stock post. quality product. Be mindful of the lenght, is a bit short.
