    Good change

Comments about Easton EA70 Aero Ergo Road Bar:

Swapped-out my stock, smaller-diameter drop bars for these and I'm glad I did. My hands were hurting. I now have better fit and feel and lower weight. I really like the extra hand positions, especially gripping the flats of the aero wedge.

Comments about Easton EA70 Aero Ergo Road Bar:

This is a very comfortable bar, the bends are perfect. It seems wider then my other 3T bars that are "listed" as both being the same size. I actually prefer these to the the 3T that came on my cervelo. I little flexy but doesn't really affect anything.

        Design flaw?

        By Mark

        Verified Buyer

Comments about Easton EA70 Aero Ergo Road Bar:

I was surprised that the flat zone on top tilts upward when the bottom part of the bars are rotated as far forward as possible - parallel with ground. Less visible when taped, but still not as aero as desired. I am not fast enough to take off, but you may be!

Comments about Easton EA70 Aero Ergo Road Bar:

I had thought the flat tops on this bar would be a big improvement over my old round bars, but I was surprised that I found the flats to be uncomfortable when the bars are adjusted to put the brakes at the right spot. This is a highly personal thing, and others may not be bothered by it.

EA70 Bars Are A Quality Set

          Pros

          • Less Drop
          • Less Reach

          Cons

          • Reach To Brake Levers

          Best Uses

Comments about Easton EA70 Aero Ergo Road Bar:

Less reach and drop than is traditional bars. Moving down onto the drops, the 'anatomic' shape actually puts hands further away from the brake levers so those with short fingers might want to look into compact bars. They feel plenty stiff with a little flex, as sturdy as any other alloy OS bars. A quality set of bars with some interesting features, but check that they bend the right way for you.
