Bought it because I needed a new cheap stem. It worked fine with my 580 mm flat bar on my trail bike but when I installed a wider high-rise bar it began to flex and creak when cranking it on steep climbs. It's not a four-bolt stem so as long as you aren't expecting four-bolt performance you will be pleased with it. It's fine for lighter use.

This isn't the lightest stem, but certainly isn't the heaviest either. I got it on sale for very cheap, so it was definitely worth the price. I'd prefer a four bolt face plate, but the difference is minor.

Nice stem for the money. I purchased the stem to get a rough idea of what size I wanted to go with on a new build. If it would have cost me anymore than what I spent on it I would not have purchased. I replaced it with a USA made Thomson once I got my sizing figured out. I would still recommend.
