The Easton EC70 seatpost is made from superlight carbon fiber. Easton claims the EC70 uses the same monocoque construction as the EC90. The only difference is the aluminum upper clamp. The EC70 employs the use of TaperWall technology to distribute material in areas where it is needed and reduce in areas where it is not. Furthermore, the EC70 takes advantage of Relief-Area Design (RAD). Relief-Area Design has been engineered to help distribute stress along the length of the post. When the stress is distributed along the post it increases strength and durability.
The Easton EC70 seatpost is a very light and strong seatpost. This is the seatpost to get if you’re interested in upgrading and saving some weight.
