Featuring a 38mm deep carbon section, the EC90 SL balances aerodynamics, road compliance and acceleration to create the world’s first no-compromise, carbon road clincher. The EC90 SL uses Easton’s ThermaTec brake track treatment in order to reduce heat buildup and provide excellent brake power modulation. The EC90 SL is also molded into its final shape in one process, ensuring that the rim retains maximum strength. In fact, the EC90 SL is so strong that it is the only carbon clincher rim to survive all of Easton’s impact, fatigue resistance, and brake track torture tests. Enitrely hand built, the EC90 SL is acoustically tuned in Easton’s own factory to ensure a perfect wheel, right out of the box.
