The part of the bar where the grips, brakes, and shifters hang is polished instead of rough so you have to tight them a little bit more, but that's fine, the bar looks and feels great! And at a great price!

I love these bars, they look good and feel great. Tough as nails! I weigh 200 and i can put all my body weight on bars with almost no flex. Paint and graphics and good quality, but the paint is a little too thick which leads to it chipping very easily (if you actually care about that sort of thing). Also the thick paint made it a little difficult to slide my controls over the bars and left marring behind, but thats not a problem for me....function over form all the way!

Fits my 6'3" 250lbs frame perfect.....I ski-mt bike-play ice hockey so im not really easy on equipment. THis bar fits me perfect while I teach my 9 yr old Daughter to DH.....

I decided to give a wider bar a try, had been using 685mm wide flat and rise bars for years. Was very surprised when I recieved it at how light it is. I installed it and gave a quick test ride around the neighborhood and although the width felt a little weird, the upsweep felt great on my wrists. The bar really put me into a good "ready/attack" position, opened up my chest and gave loads of control. 1st ride on the bars and I completely forgot about them after 5 minutes, which to me is a sign of a part/product that works well. FYI, 6'2", long arms riding 29er HT and FS on tight, technical, rocky trails.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
