I have an old silca that I wanted to keep going. the leather washer was done. I tried to flatten it out in a vise, No worky. Next I got a peice of leather and made a new one. the leather was too soft. tried again with some very heavy leather, it worked this time but fit too tight and did not allow air back under the piston till it was all the way at the top.
This is better than homemade.

After 20 years my trusty old Silca Floor Pump gave up the ghost. This is the exact replacement leather plunger washer for the narrow body Silca High Pressure Floor Pump. Unscrew the plunger retainer and remove the plunger from the body. Unbolt the old leather washer and the metal retaining washer, replace the leather and metal washer, lube with some oil, reassemble and you're back in business in less than 5 minutes.My beat up, scratched, worn and abused old Silca will pump again just like it's brand new. A new [$] leather washer and I can pump to 120 psi with no problem! This little gem kept me from having to buy a new $75 pump!!Excellent value, right price, proper fit...WELL WORTH IT!!!
