Focus Raven 1.0 - Full Sram XX

The Raven line is a hardtail Cross Country line with an aim at performance. This lightweight line takes advantage of carbon fiber frames to yield high performance. These carbon fiber frames are designed and crafted to exact specifications to ensure quality throughout. The frames also take advantage of the BB30 over sized bottom bracket. In doing so the Raven line is able to increase stiffness and strength in that key area. Furthermore carbon fiber drop outs reduce weight while increasing the load bearing capacity. Carbon fiber drop outs also create a solid and stiff place for the rear wheel to live. The Raven carbon fiber frame is super light and strong.
Focus has set the Raven out on the right path with this high performance frame it only seems fitting that Focus would outfit it full Sram XX. This Race ready group is super light weight and performance driven, just like the Raven frame. Together they produce an awesome ride experience. Having reliability on Race day is a huge issue. Knowing you can count on your bike to do the job you need is critical. Sram XX 10 Speed shifters set the pace of on point and reliable shifting while the Sram XX front and Sram XX rear derailleurs add to the performance and reliability. The super light weight and stiff Sram XX Carbon cranks are power houses when it comes to performance and design. The entire Sram XX group was designed to provide you with the best race experience possible. The Raven and this Sram XX race group complement each other in way you can only understand by hoping on and riding for yourself.
The Raven line may be a hardtail line but suspension is still a must. Keeping up with the quality standards that the Raven has set, Focus set their aim on a suspension fork that would complement the rest of the build. A Rock Shox SiD XX with Remote lock out was chosen. This fork also has a carbon crown and steerer. Rock Shox is an industry leader in shocks and suspension. Continuously setting new standards and introducing new technologies, Rock Shox XX was an instant choice for the Raven 1.0.

I thought I would be forced on to a 29er, since no company was making high end 26 inch hardtails anymore. I had ridden and raced my old bike for years and years and hadn't found a suitable replacement. Then I found the Raven and committed immediately. High end in every aspect. I just added my favorite pedals and grips, and there is nothing more I could ask for, and I'm a notorious upgrader. The Raven is light, stiff but comfortable, and nimble...just what I demand in a hardtail. One thing to point out is the carbon wheels, per the manufacturer, are not tubeless. I prefer tubes, so it's not an issue for me.
