Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 Road Bike
The accolades keep building for the Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 Road Bike. Cycling Plus and Bicycling Magazine have heaped loads of praise on the Focus Izalco Pro 3.0. Bicycling Magazine editors stated they were impressed at the Focus Izalco Pro 3.0's ability to, “dive through switchbacks with breathless abandon” with a “stiff, unified feeling under power.” Cycling Plus continued with the high praise declaring the Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 the winner of the Cycling Plus Bike of the Year.
The Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 has been engineered with features like stable stiffness per size (SSPS). Simply put, SSPS ensures that as the frame gets bigger, the tubing dimensions increase accordingly. Each carbon fiber frame on the Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 bike is just the right size to keep it strong and stiff. Also incorporated into the carbon frame are carbon fiber dropouts, BB30 bottom bracket, reinforced integrated cable tunnel and elbowed comfort seat stays to absorb road vibrations.
The German designed and manufactured carbon fiber frame is complemented by a parts group that is worthy of a place on any start line. The Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 road bike carries SRAM Force front and rear derailleur. The Full SRAM Force grouppo includes the SRAM Force BB30 Crankset (53/39), SRAM Force Brakes and shifters. The SRAM Double Tap shifters include a custom reach adjustment feature along with carbon fiber and magnesium brake levers.
Beyond the full SRAM Force group the component list has been thoughtfully chosen to complement the Focus Izalco carbon fiber frame and 3t fork.The Focus Izalco Pro 3.0’s cockpit is outfitted with FSA handlebar, stem and post with a Prologo saddle. DT Swiss R 1850 wheels keep the Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 road bike rolling smoothly. Finish off the road bike with a sharp matte black on black finish and you are ready to tackle the local group ride or race!
