I bought a Dawes Roundhouse 2500 and replaced the Suntour that came on the bike with this fork. I was surprised at how well of a fork it was for the price. I am not new to MTB'ing but I am on a budget. It was easy to install. I was surprised to see features like the lockout, and adjustable preload. Its not too heavy but it isnt light either. If you are new to biking or on a budget....this is a perfect way to go.

Bought the XC28 to replace the rigid fork on my bike. So far it has performed as advertised. The lockout feature works great which allows you to stand while pedaling without the front end going up and down. It also has an adjustment for preload and rebound. I think this is great entry level front fork.
