The Fox 36 has long been the fork choice for all-mountain riders who want the very best in performance and don’t want to compromise on features. Recent updates to the Fox 36 Performance Elite like the addition of lower leg bypass channels and bleeder buttons have only solidified the 36’s place in the hierarchy of all-mountain forks. The lower leg bypass channels reduce unintentional pressure ramping and circulate leg bath oil to the upper reaches of the lower legs. The bleeder buttons allow you to easily equalize atmospheric pressure, which helps to keep fork performance consistent. The redesigned lower leg arch has been optimized to provide a perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio. A floating axle design eliminates unwanted friction between the upper and lower fork legs. Fox’s FLOAT EVOL air spring delivers excellent mid-stroke support with a perfectly optimized linear spring curve. The terrific GRIP 2 damper makes a return this year. Its Variable Valve Control (VVC) technology allows for an incredible amount of external fine-tuning with tons of high and low-speed compression adjustment along with high and low-speed rebound adjustment.

DT Swiss has released a new high engagement hub for trail and gravity riders.The new DEG hub still utilizes DT Swiss' ratchet system, but the ratchet itself is almost twice as big as the current ratchet in order to match the large hub shell of the new hub. The max number of teeth available used to be 54, but the new DEG ratchet has grown to 90 teeth, which provides 4º of engagement angle, greatly reducing the play between engagement points.
For 2025, Fox has come out swinging with an all-new lineup of forks and dampers. The new Grip X2, Grip X and Grip SL are replacing the outgoing Grip 2, Grip and Fit4 dampers which have provided amazing performance in Fox forks for years. There have been some pretty solid improvements in performance and longevity of this line of suspension and we're excited to share the information with you!
