The Fox 38 fork series is renowned for its industry leading and enduro category leading performance. The Fox 38 Performance fork takes all of the key features of its more expensive Factory level brother and condenses it down into a more simplified and affordable package. Just like on the factory level fork, the Performance level fork receives the upgraded lower leg arch which features an incredible stiffness-to-weight ratio. The massive 38mm stanchions provide an insane amount of stiffness, resulting in top notch cornering, braking, and overall handling. Bleeder buttons located on the lower legs allow for atmospheric pressure equalization at the push of a button, which helps to keep performance consistent at any elevation. Lower leg bypass channels help to prevent unintentional pressure ramping as well as help to circulate oil into the upper reaches of the lower legs. Making a triumphant return for 2022 is the ever reliable GRIP damper. The GRIP damper offers solid adjustment in the form of three on-the-fly compression positions and low-speed rebound. Fox’s FLOAT EVOL linear air spring offers excellent small bump compliance and solid mid-stroke support. DT Swiss has released a new high engagement hub for trail and gravity riders.The new DEG hub still utilizes DT Swiss' ratchet system, but the ratchet itself is almost twice as big as the current ratchet in order to match the large hub shell of the new hub. The max number of teeth available used to be 54, but the new DEG ratchet has grown to 90 teeth, which provides 4º of engagement angle, greatly reducing the play between engagement points.
For 2025, Fox has come out swinging with an all-new lineup of forks and dampers. The new Grip X2, Grip X and Grip SL are replacing the outgoing Grip 2, Grip and Fit4 dampers which have provided amazing performance in Fox forks for years. There have been some pretty solid improvements in performance and longevity of this line of suspension and we're excited to share the information with you!
