I bought this to do a quick seal clean I saw on pinkbike and fox's website to do recommended seal and sponge clean and lube. I was dealing with alot of stiction so I slid the seals up, cleaned them and the sponge and relubed them. Fork felt like new. Fox recommends annual overhauls but in between this is a great way to keep fork smooth and protected.

Between this and the RockShox redrum fluid, I don't think you'll find much of a difference. I'm using this in my RockShox Reba with no issue of course, and in my opinion they actually give you a whole lot more than you will need for a long time... This isn't meant to be used as fork oil, so you only need to apply this to the foam pads that lubricate the stanchions, and that doesn't require much at all.
