I use for about an hour at a time on our local trail. I use the helmet mount and I don't use another light. It is plenty bright for my local trail. I would add another light to my handlebar if I were at a trail that I was unfamiliar with. I love that I can attach the battery on my helmet and it is very light weight.

Awesome Light! Very bright, easy to use and has a great run time. On the road and commuting you can get by with just one. Helmet mounted or bar mounted you are set, I prefer to mount it on the helmet. Off-road and on the trails you want two lights - one on the bars and the other on the helmet. You can get by with just one but its a bit underpowered as your only light on the trails

I use it for night training in road and trails, in the road it makes you visible from far away so you will reduce risk to get hit by a car, and the sight is just awesome.
