The GT Sensor 1.0 is your go- to trail bike. To begin, the hydroformed Speed Metal™ Aluminum frame has 120mm of travel. The Sensor 1.0 has an Independent Drivetrain (I- Drive) which you’ll find beneficial in many situations. Regardless of how the rear wheel moves, it won’t pull on the chain, crank, or pedals. This results in improved pedaling efficiency. With I- Drive you’ll notice your momentum is better preserved, which will lead to a faster, smoother ride.
The GT Sensor 1.0 is the crème de la crème of trail bikes. Outfitted in top- notch components, this is a bike you’ll be proud to introduce to your friends. GT paid close attention to detail with the Sensor 1.0. Every component was chosen due to its superior performance on the mountain. Let’s begin; both the front and rear suspension are by Fox Shox. Fox is a well known suspension company that only produces high end pieces. They use the best materials and have expert craftsmanship. The Fox Shox 32 Float RL FIT has 120mm of travel, a 15mm quick release, rebound adjust, and lockout. FIT stands for Fox Isolated Technology. FIT technology employs a bladder system that keeps the oil and air from mixing to provide optimal performance in all riding extremes. The FIT damper was designed to allow maximum pedaling efficiency. The Fox Shox Float RP23 BV compliments the fork perfectly. The Float RP23 features 120mm of travel, adjustable rebound, compression, and lockout. The Float is lightweight features Fox’s Boost Valve. Boost Valve provides velocity and position sensitive damping. The ProPedal system maximizes pedaling efficiency.
Shimano Deore XT cranks, bottom bracket, shifters, front and rear derailleurs were chosen for the GT Sensor 1.0. Shimano is well known within the cycling industry for creating high end bicycle components. Deore XT components were designed to be strong and offer racing performance. The Shimano 2x10 drivetrain provides ample gear ratios for every terrain type you may encounter. High speeds will definitely be reached on the Sensor 1.0. In the event of excess speeds, the Formula RX brakes will safely slow you down. The Sensor 1.0 has oodles of technology and high end components that will make your heart beat irregularly.

Not a major brand in the Uk but I think the spec on this bike is ace. Coming from a hard tail, The bike is still efficient and seems to climb better than the hardtail. full suss allows you to keep powering on. The 1.0 looks great and I am really happy. The rear brake lost fluid over night and a 3wk wait for repair was not good. Hopefully that's the last problem. Changed the tyres as they dont cope with English Mud! will keep them for summer.

So far have only done a few rides but it's handled really well. I just have to fine tune rear suspension to eliminate bob for flat and climbing purposes.
