I've got the newer version without the o-ring setup on the bottom guide rather than the roller. It's great, really my only gripe is that when I had a 34t chainring (which it says is the max size) the chain would rub the inside of the upper guide piece and make a horrendous squeaking noise. I tried grinding away the plastic but couldn't get it to go away. I switched to a 32t and it's all good, no noise at all. I'd recommend doing the P30 if you want to run a 34t ring.
