I had the 26x1.6 version and they have served me well but they had seen better days so I thought I would try these. These tires were the tightest I have ever installed. The 1st attempt pinched both tubes beyond repair and broke 2 tire levers doing it. Then after the 1st ride the front went down caused by another pinch another tube and another broken tire lever later I gave up and put my old 1.6 back on.

I use this tire as a commuter and it rolls very fast and has good traction. I have olny had one flat and that was becuse i ran over a sharp object that would have sliced any tire. I would recommend this tire to anyone seeting up a commuter.

Got this tire because it was cheap and needed a sacrificial tire for training. Works good for that, standing up to the use very well. I don't notice any unusual wear, it may have life left over to actually use on the street, good compound in the rubber. Only con I can see is that the bead was quite a bit stiffer than any other wire bead I have used.

This is my urban thrasher and wanted to try the slick experience. Plus I like to ride fairly frequent 50 mile days on highway shoulder, country road. This tire improved my speed considerably. The relatively light weight is a treat after 1.95 MTB tires. The 1.6 is the way to go, IMHO, for the odd gravel/dirt/cc moments.

Totally surprised how smooth and quiet it rides, this being my first "true" slick. It is money well spent. I am concerned with the thin walls, but so far have not encountered punctures.
