If you find yourself wanting more hand on your bar end, the Ergon GP5 is perfect. The GP5 has the ergonomic grip body lf the GP2, but the GP5 introduces a hollow formed glass fiber reinforced ergonomically shaped bar end. The bar end features rubberized inserts for positive grip. Like all of Ergon’s bar end grips, the bar ends can independently positioned relative to the grip.

Comments about Ergon GP 5 Grip With Bar End:
I was getting wrist pain from my old grips. With these grips, my hands feel great. The large surface area that bears the weight of the hands spreads the weight. They are extremely comfortable. I will never ride without Ergon grips again.
I also like this model, which has the bar ends. They are adjustable to any angle. For the first few rides, I would carry a 5mm key so that I could adjust the bar ends along the way. Now I have them exactly where I want them.
Note that these bar ends are not metal, so they cannot have a mirror mounted on them. If you want a mirror on the end of the bar end, then try the GP1, which does not have bar end. Mount the grips slightly inboard from the end of the bar, so that there is room for a regular bar end.
For the GP5, I drilled out the end of the left-side grip (it's just plastic), and mounted a "3rd Eye Bar End Mirror". It works great.
