I've been installing bar tape for over 30 years and the Cinelli is easy to install, grips well and provides the right feel for me....I rode 2 hours in the rain last night and not a sign of slippage. With the availability of newer bike colors, I wish that a few more designs/colors were available in the cork ribbon..

I'm more used to gel bar tapes, so the first time I installed this tape, I managed to tear it by using too much pressure. Jenson sells it for about 1/2 of the price of my LBS, so I bought another roll and installed it with steady firm pressure and it went on without a hitch.
The tape seems durable and attractive on the bike, but I can't comment on long term performance yet.

I've used many brands of bar tape, with varying degrees of success. Many brands don't have the right cross-sectional profile to produce a wrap without ridges. I've also found varying degrees of stretch - you wrap the bars tightly and find that a month later the tape has relaxed and the wrap moves on the bar - perhaps an issue of insufficient or no adhesive backing, but tape wrap that moves is not good. I've achieved the best bar wrap results with Cinelli tape. It really is the best.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is my go to tape for my road and cross bikes. It's affordable, comfortable, and comes in a bunch of colors. It is easy to wrap, and it stays in place pretty well. It does tear kind of easily, but for the price it's not a big deal.

Did my first bar tape wrap with it and it went on almost perfectly. Strong enough to be stretched for a tight wrap. It is very comfortable, much more so than the previous two bar tapes I have used. Love the bright orange. It's like a high visibilty jacket for my bars.
