The tape has a nice hand feel to it and is grippy enough but it is quite thin and not as padded as I expected for the added gel.
My bars feel much skinnier than when I had the stock Giant tape on my bars.
Might as well go with the cheaper standard Cinelli cork tape with no gel.

This is hands down the plushest bar tape for anyone going on long gravel rides, riding on pave, or busted up city streets. It reduces road feel a tad but if you wrap it tight that is less of an issue. Great Comfortable tape.
