I'm a big fan of Fizik tape.
Yes, it doesn't have a lot of padding, but I prefer a thin tape.
This stuff lasts forever and can be cleaned multiple times per season.
I've used it on several road bikes and my cyclocross bike. The white tape held up to a very muddy cross season, lots of washing, scrubbing and abuse and still looked quite good! No other white tape I've tried can do that.

Great lightweight tape. Not much padding, so if you want comfort invest in some under-tape gel pads. I used the white tape for over a year before finally changing it for a different color. When I took it off, it was still white as the day I put it on, with no cuts, scrapes, or unraveling. You can get chain grease on this tape and it will wipe right off.
A little slippery with wet, ungloved hands, but otherwise a great neutral grip feel.

Had Deda bar tape which was OK except for being very slippery with sweaty gloveless hands. I replace it with Fizik Microtex tape. This tape is not stretchy so took some extra care and pulling to get it to lie flat around the bar bends and shifter bases. This stuff has a feel like suede leather and has good grip even with sweaty hands. It's not very thick and doesn't offer much padding, but that's the way I like it.

I ride about 2K miles/yr and have used this tape for 1 season. Personally, I didn't like it. The tape went on fine and was easy to install but I had to replace the finishing strips from my old tape because the ones that came with this set were...eh..However, the main thing I didn't like about this tape is that it is quite thing. I use aluminum bars so I rely on my tape to absorb a fair bit of vibration on long (30m+) ridedes, and this tape transmits a lot of road chatter compared to others. After a good hour at 75% or so, I find my palms getting quite worn. I replaced my gloves (Giro Monaco) but this didn't help either...so its time to go back to my good of Cinnelli tape....

This was my first ever bar wrap and it went quite well. The tape is of very good quality and comfort, and looks great too (cool 'fizik' tape and end caps too). I like the grip and cushion it offers, great combination of form and function.

read many reviews saying this tape has no stretch and is a pain to wrap. NOT TRUE!!! this tape has a good stretch and wraps with ease. It looks phenomenal and feels great. Highly recommended.

Very easy to install. Its forgiving and lays down flat. Works great. Grips well and stays clean. I've used one for over a year and has not discolored or deteriorated. Just right amount of padding.
