This stem worked wonders in improving riding comfort. I added a wider set of bars and this stem and the numbness in my hands completely went away. Only downside is that the stem is SERIOUSLY creaky when standing and peddling. Makes me a little nervous but I know the gearing inside is good to go, just sounds horrible.

Bought adjustable stem thinking I needed bars raised over an inch and there are very few regular stems available with enough angle to get that much rise. Very pleased with my decision, especially since after adjusting a couple of times, I settled on only about 3/4 inch higher than stock part. Stem appears to be plenty strong for MTB with only a slight weight penalty.

Good product if you don't mind the annoying noise. Don't know if it would be noisy for everyone. Outside of that it is a good stem.
